LA - Long Beach

Posted by Cookies83 at 03:49 PM on December 16, 2006.

Well... I've travelled half way around the world... AND... i'm spending FRIDAY NIGHT in the hotel, drinking ALONE, and singing to my iPOD. Some how it's good to be relaxing. I've spent the last week on an areoplane.. where I actually missed my flight to LA because I read the wrong time on my Ticket... and got the plane delayed, they had to take my bag off the plane.. hrm.

So... things don't change with me.. always late... and always making people wait. I guess this time.. it was just a plane of about 200 people. AND the guy at the gate was giving ME attitude! I felt like saying WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!

But anyway... I managed to get on the next flight.. THANK GAWD.. usually I wouldn't care.. but I had to be in Long Beach for a meeting at 7:30am. AND calling to say you can't make it cause you were on MSN in the KRIS LOUNGE just good enough.. NOT to mention... having to call the partner and say "YO WATS UP? I just missed the flight for YOUR JOB...  SORRY DUDE"

HrM.. well I made it here in one piece.. didn't shower for something like 30 hours *ew*.. that includes after I ran from one side of singapore airport to the other.. EW...

I've spent the past week... walking the dodgy streets of long beach.. little did I know your not meant to stray from the main street (i found out after). In the early morning.. I walk out of my hotel room and see a man sitting on the bench with a blanket on him... I feel like giving him some money... BUT i'm scared he will take my money .. (terrible attitude I KNOW)... Though whenever I see a homeless person I always think of how AE_O gave a homeless guy Maccas... and really wish I would too...

Anyway.. it's Friday night WHoOOOo.. and I ordered room service AGAIN... and today the lady asked me for my ID *hrm* and then she asked "would you need a extra wine glass for your bottle?"... MEUHAhAHhaHAHHa... "SURE LADY... Let me invite my invisible friends... NO WAY this bottle is for ME ME MEEEEEEEEEEEEE".... SO... i've had two glasses... n watched Harry Potter.. and Runaway Bride is on now..

Tomorrow.. I plan to hit rodeo drive.. and melrose ave.. for some GOOD OLD SHOPPING.. right now I haven't determined what my budget is.. which is quite dangerous.. but HEY it's christmas.. and EVERYONE needs presents... well actually let me rephrase that.. I NEED PRESENTS.. I've been working and studying my ass off.. I'm going to use it as an excuse to spend all the MULA in the world baby!

SO SHOP SHOP SHOP BABY! WHoOoOOOoOoOooooooo....

I can't wait for Christmas in Singapore and NYE in Hong Kong!! WHOoOoOOOOOOooooooo...

I've travelled so much.. one more year of this and i'm handing in my passport.. (well my work travel passport)...

HrM.. what else... MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.. (I don't think people read this) heahaha... Can't wait till 2007!

Europe

Posted by Cookies83 at 09:16 PM on September 11, 2006.

I didn't get to write much while I was on my trip in Europe... it was more "GO GO GO" ... I was glad to come back to sydney, but now I'm in New Zealand for work (yes again ) So I will write about my trip... But no pictures.. cause they aren't on this computer..

Switzerland

Chocolate - I can say is.. the chocolate is SO DAMN delicious.. those little pieces that you point at over the counter and melt in your mouth.. definately worth the trip...

Sausages - YUM YUM in my tum, I think I ate so many in one day... my stomach stop functioning.. *ew* anyway.. they are absolutely delicious!

Robbie Willaims - went to his concert.. i swear it probably was the best live performance I've been to in my life... mostly because of the atmosphere and all the screaming fans... 40,000 people packed one huge stadium as everyone sang and danced together... including some weird european thing where they wave their hands like zombies and go "MmMMMmMMmMMM" all together at once. Leaving the stadium was another experience in itself.. people trampling over each other to get into a train.... it was definately worth the 12 hour day trip to see him for 2 hours.

Copenhagen

A small city that you can ride your bicycle around, which we did! We hired some bikes and rode around the city.... it was a great atmosphere except I couldn't touch the floor and this guy was annoyed at me because I was going too slow!... Well I can't help it if they keep to the right and I was keeping to the left!

Rode on the tallets chair spin thing in the world... 80ms high...

Had a great time eating in little cafe's and drinking beer during the day... definately a must see destination!

Most of all it was the company and getting to new friends...

Milano

On a last minute decision we headed off to Milan for one night on a train. The city was absolutely beautiful.... The armani shop was MASSIVE, you could mistake it for a department store.. we ate there as well.. it wasss SO delicious...

We stayed right on the shopping strip and when you look down.. you can see the shoppers, if you look to your left you can see the Duomo ( a famous church in Milan).

The designer clothing shop was spectacular.. hugeee 3 story buildings.

I couldn't help myself at gucci.. walked away with a very expensive bag and a little clutch...

Alessi was so cheap as well.. walked away with millions of pieces for my future house.. ehahehe (soon to be)... and SOMEONE walked away with a huge massive boxes of Alessi gear...

 Paris

Paris was busy busy busy... such a beautiful city 3 days was definately not enough time to see all the buildings, experience the culture, walk the streets, go shopping... eat the food..

So in 3 days we rushed to see the eiffel tower, notre dame, the lourve, the shopping district, the arc de triumph.

It was definately a great experience being in the city....

I now know someone famous from the Molin Rouge *wink*... the show was fantastic.. and the food was great.. the live band during dinner was really romantic.. especially with the little red lamps lighting the room...

After 3 days I definately was broke after visiting LV and Dior... *sigh*... but it's so much cheaper (but not cheap) I had to...

WOAH this is the longest post in forever.....
